Hi Jek-Hui, thanks for your feedback! We adjusted our pattern in late 2018, so that accounts for the different you're feeling in our dresses. We also changed the sizing chart to reflect the adjustments, so check that out first if you decide to order again. And just to clarify - there is no duty due on arrival, but Canada Post used to collect GST upon delivery to Canadian addresses. This is the same tax you would pay in a Canadian retail store. We have since changed our Canadian checkout method, and folks pay the GST at checkout on our website, so GST will no longer be due on delivery and your package will arrive without any additional cost!
