Patience & Moxie

Facebook groups can be many things, and we’ve got one that acts as our heart, soul, and alter ego. It’s called Team Nuu-Muu, and if you’ve never heard of it, check it out: it’s chock full of some pretty fantastic human beings who also happen to be huge Nuu-Muu fans.

Affectionately called “Teamies,” these ladies are healthy. Active. Supportive. Determined. Loving. Funny. Smart.

And, sometimes, impatient.

Our Teamies have been around for a while, and they’re pretty familiar with our product release cycle. They get a little ravenous every time we release new prints, a hunger that usually flares with energetic posts 2-3 months in advance of our actual release date.

We do nothing to promote this - the excitement (and yes, impatience) comes entirely from them. We love it. We love them.

They usually laugh at their own enthusiasm and cajole us into sharing previews of upcoming designs. Recently, a Teamie suggested we name a print “Patience”, a spoofy nod to Team Nuu-Muu’s impassioned zeal around new prints, which is anything but patient.

We thought this was brilliant. Patience. Done.

We also named a print “Moxie”, which is defined as: “energy, pep, courage, spunk, determination, and know-how.”  A perfect description of our Team Nuu-Muu sisters.

Therefore, we give you Patience and Moxie, in honor of the women of Team Nuu-Muu, our most favorite internet friends.

Thanks, Teamies! We love your (im)patience and your moxie and we couldn’t do this without you.
